New Diet Sounds Like 16 Others
Did you indulge a bit too much over the long weekend? Looking for a way to shed some extra pounds with a gimmicky, new system? Naturally there's a new diet at your service: It's called Smart For Life, and it's just arrived in New York with a center in Midtown. But how does it differ from Slimfast, Nutrisystem, Weightwatchers, The Zone, South Beach, and Jenny Craig? Well, it consists of eating cookies.
They're not sold in stores or online because they don't contain preservatives, which must mean they're extra-good for you. Also, they're "60% organic," whatever the hell that means.
Since history has taught us that we should only ever attempt to slim down by embracing a dubious methodology involving buying fake food in little packets with huge profit margins, rather than by simply eating less and exercising more, we're sure Smart For Life—which is owned by a doctor, as if you needed any further reassurance—will be a big hit here.
