The summer season has reached its midpoint, but if you'd like to get a jump on 2009—and assuming you can afford the hefty price tag—Christie Brinkley's Shingle-style manse in Bridgehampton is still available for the taking. Photos of the home where Brinkley once spent quiet, romantic moments with Peter Cook (and where Cook indulged in his pricey porn habit) after the jump.

The listing notes that the property was "lovingly restored" in 1998; the loving restorer in question would be Cook, who is a licensed architect. It was here, of course, that Brinkley found out that her husband had not-so-lovingly cheated on her with his 18-year-old assistant, a revelation that prompted divorce proceedings and landed this beauty on the market. So what do you get for $30 million? 11 bedrooms, 9 bathrooms, and the setting for one of the ugliest divorces in recent memory. Whoever buys this place will have an obligation to show it the domestic dysfunction it deserves. Come to think of it, it seems like an ideal setting for the inevitable Stern-Ostrosky split to play out.
