• Say goodbye to CBS2's Jim Rosenfield. He's been axed as part of cutbacks at the network, and today will be his last day. The belt-tightening also claimed the jobs of Andrew Kirtzman and Scott Weinberger.
  • Kara Swisher reports that Tina Brown's as-yet-untitled online venture has a new employee: Caroline Marks, former the GM of Comcast’s Ziddio service. She'll report to IAC’s Nick Lehman, who works for Michael Jackson, who works for Barry Diller, if that makes any sense.
  • HBO honcho Richard Plepler has tapped Frank Rich of the Times as a creative consultant. He's agreed not to cover HBO in any of his columns. But perhaps we'll all be treated to a vicious anti-Bush made-for-TV movie in the near future.
