Much like on Will & Grace, where Will was scared of pee-pees and never wanted to see (let alone touch) one, As The World Turns geigh couple Noah and Luke never want to kiss. OK, to be fair, they have kissed, in "groundbreaking" fashion, making them the first gay men to kiss on a daytime soap. But the last time they sucked face was like months ago and fans want more. Online petitions have been passed around and a website created, all pressuring the network, and by extension sponsor Procter & Gamble, to make it happen again (and again and again and again!)

P&G, which has already been called the "top pro-homosexual sponsor on television" by the ominously named American Family Association, says that there is no "kissing ban." They just, you know, have a diverse audience that needs to be as broadly satisfied as possible. So it seems that those eager, desperate viewers, holed up in their houses in the middle of the day (hmm.) will have to wait a little longer for another kiss. And forget about more. As show fan Theresa Webber states: "There are some people who want to see sex between Luke and Noah. I've been watching soaps long enough to know that they're a teenage couple, so it's not going to happen anyway." Sigh. This is like watching the end of High School Musical and totally wanting Troy and Gabriela to kiss and being let down every time. What's that old quote about insanity again?
