Because we're nothing if not charitable, here's some schadenfreude to cheer up former AOLers in Virginia. At least you're not a former Cisco employee in Brazil. While you're wallowing in your own drunken misery, a good number of ex-Cisconians are in a South American prison, reportedly accused of stealing $825 million from the Brazilian government. Word is that Brazilian tax police raided Cisco offices in Sao Paulo to arrest 40 Cisco employees, including Pedro Rípero, president of Cisco Brazil, and former unit president Carlos Roberto Carnevali. Cisco's Brazilian arm is allegedly responsible for $825 million in lost tax revenue over the last five years. We never knew that selling routers could generate such drama. The Brazilian government called the raid Operation Persona. As in "non grata"?
