A reader just sent in this photo of a nun praying in front of the Laemmle Sunset 5, surrounded by two security guards who are clearly stumped by an ideological dilemma on the level of miniature golf courses vs. religious librairies. Our operative sent in two reports from the scene—the first is below, the second follows immediately after the jump:

Security is hassling an apparently praying nun on the corner of Sunset and Crescent Heights — and we're still two weeks away from Halloween. Not sure if she's keeping vigil for Lake of Fire or Outsourced.

Moments later, this arrived:

The nun won't talk to me but her nephew says she's praying for the babies in Lake of Fire. Mall fuzz are calling the sheriff. Told her not to kneel because her feet are blocking traffic.

As we'd hate to see this end with the sister bent over a WeHo Sheriff's Department patrol vehicle, we'll simply voice our hope that she go quietly—or better yet, since she's there already, perhaps take in the 4:15 showing of Lars and the Real Girl, which from what we understand is the sex-doll movie even a nun could love!
