'WSJ' Employees Walk The Line
Seeing as their adorable poster stunt failed to show results, the rank and file of the Wall Street Journal are taking to the streets:
The reporting staff is going to be protesting today outside the newsroom from 11-1. We've been working without a contract since January and the contract negotiations have been protracted and ugly. Got a final offer from mngmt in which we're being effectively required to take a pay cut. Particularly frustrating considering all the $$$$ mngmt...will make when the sale to Murdoch closes. Come visit us! At the very least, try not to make too much fun of us. We really are getting fucked.
If you're in the neighborhood, stop by. And be nice! These poor people are now owned by Rupert Murdoch.
