If anything kills Facebook for good, it will be the parents. It was bad enough when moms started joining Facebook to spy on their kids. Now, ABC's "Good Morning America" reports in this clip, today's generation of ever-hovering "helicopter" parents is using the social network to check out their kids' prospective roommates.


Naturally, they're finding the predictable array of drunken photos, indiscreet postings, and scandalous status updates. Yes, we'll likely hear a statement from Facebook about how great its privacy controls are. What Facebook won't say: As it expands beyond its original Ivy League demographic, it's finding it harder and harder to sign up users intelligent enough to use those controls.
