· Filter magazine presents a CD release party for Interpol's "Our Love To Admire" at the Natural History Museum. It features DJ sets from the band's Sam Fogarino and Paul Banks.

· Local writer Ben Ehrenreich reads from his novel The Suitors, an updated retelling of The Odyssey, at Skylight Books.
· Outfest, the Los Angeles Gay and Lesbian Film Festival, celebrates its 25th anniversay. On the schedule today: A panel called "Ugly Betty is a Beautiful Thing," and Bears, a documentary about the Mr. International Bear contest. Hopefully the winner won't disgrace the title by not being discovered acting like a drunken slut in leaked internet photographs.
