Paris Hilton Goes Clubbing, Hugs Four-Year-Old

According to an item in today's Page Six, Paris Hilton is savoring the sweet freedom so cruelly denied her during the 23 days she was a helpless victim of the Los Angeles County criminal justice system; just as she was once roughly shuttled to and fro from home imprisonment to the Century Regional Detention Facility, a newly liberated Hilton now flits between safe-places Les Deux and Teddy's, where she's sharing her contagious enthusiasm for post-incarceration life with fans:
PARIS Hilton seems to be up to her old tricks again.
Although she told Larry King she'd never done drugs, the newly spiritual heirhead emerged from an SUV in front of Hollywood club Teddy's the other night in what witnesses describe as a cloud of marijuana smoke. "She took a huge puff off of a joint, then opened the door and exhaled the pot smoke basically in my face," one clubgoer told us. At least she wasn't driving. Hilton's camp didn't get back to us.
Despite how nasty gossip spread by an anonymous clubgoer seems to uncharitably depict the priorities of Hilton's early days of freedom, it's important to note that she's far from abandoned the altruistic spirit she discovered during her darkest days of imprisonment. As TMZ's hyper-vigilant cameras have so helpfully documented, the heiress to an embarrassment of spiritual riches took some time out of her busy clubgoing schedule to hug a four-year-old, fulfilling her prison-cell promise to, like, be nicer to children who might be poor or sick or something.
