Your Weekend Of Outdoor Sounds

Friday
· Music round-up: Baltimore DJ Ronnie Darko spins at Fridays Off the 405 at The Getty, The Shore play at Silver Lake's El Cid, and Miranda Lee Richards is at the Hotel Café.
· The 2007 Summer Festival at the Huntington Library and Botanical Gardens kicks off with a classical program including the U.S. premiere of Vietnamese composer Phuc Linh's "Suite for Winds and Strings."
Saturday
· Saturday night music: Catch The Decemberists with Band of Horses play the Hollywood Bowl backed by the L.A. Philharmonic. Or for something a little more intimate, The Rentals are at Spaceland.
· The Dresden Dolls' Amanda Palmer and aging punk tough-guy Henry Rollins won't say what the topic of their discussion at the Hammer Museum is, but we're willing to put our money it's something My Little Pony-related.
· For those of you who just can't get enough tiki, a rare hour of "tiki island-themed TV" screens at the Egyptian Theatre, hosted by Kevin Kidney, followed by a luau dinner in the courtyard with entertainment courtesy of King Kukelele and his Friki Tikis and the Polynesian Paradise Dancers.
Sunday
· Grauman's Chinese hosts the U.S. premiere of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, including an exciting, all-nude red carpet appearance by Harry himself, noted wand-wielding exhibitionist Daniel Radcliffe.
· For those of you left wanting more laughs from your recent visit to Spaceland to see The Rentals, comedian Neil Hamburger takes their stage tonight.
