Yesterday we sifted through some of the many Best of Lists and impartially selected a few of our favorites. Today, we have a few more lists to throw at you, so that you can sound wittier and more learned than you actually are if you go to the kind of New Year's party where anyone can hear you talk over the music (loser!). They're after the jump.

1. Claire Zulkey's New Names For The Cape Codder List
This isn't technically a Best Of list, but we're including it anyway because we're pretty sure it's the best list of its kind in existence. Also, we like the idea of going into a bar and ordering a "Bladder Mary."
2. NYMag's 'My Year In Culture
Have we already made fun of this? We sure hope so. In any case, we'd like to take a moment to marvel again at the lengths famous (famous?) people will go to in order to make themselves sound smart. Seriously, "Favorite TV show: 'Every minute of C-Span.'" Also, there's no way Diane Von Furstenburg has actually cracked the copy of Snow that's sitting ornamentally on some surface in one of her homes.
3. The Millions A Year In Reading
Here, bloggers recommend the best books they read during 2006 — not the Best Books of 2006. This avoids another rehash of the anointed-by-everyone usual suspects (we liked Fun Home as much as the next grown-up comic geek, but even we're getting tired of seeing in thrown onto lists as some kind of comic book affirmative action project.) So while some of the picks here are old news, a lot of them are books we've never heard of, recommended by writers we have heard of. That's always a good thing.
4. Our Own Best Publicist Denial of 2006
Yes, it's only one entry long. Relive the magic.
5. This List Right Now
So meta.
