Rupert Murdoch's New York Post "will begin distribution in the Bay Area next week," according to a daily electronic newsletter published by the Peninsula Press Club, a local journalism group. The report was confirmed Wednesday by a spokesman for the paper.... Howard Rubenstein, founder and president of Rubenstein Associates in Manhattan, the Post's PR agency, confirmed that the Post will "distribute a minimum number of copies in San Francisco. It won't be a large number." However, Rubenstein said, officials at the Post said there is a demand for the paper in the Bay Area.

We can only imagine. And now today's cover makes more sense.
