Breaking: Now We'll Never Know How O.J. Would Have Done It If He Did It

If I Did It, Here's How It Happened, Fox's planned O.J. Simpson kinda-sorta confession special and lavishly illustrated, accompanying coffee table book, are both dead in the water, a hit ordered directly from the top by News Corp's corporate overlord, Rupert Murdoch:
News Corp. says it has canceled publication of the O.J. Simpson book and television special "If I Did It."
The network quotes News Corporation chairman Rupert Murdoch as saying he decided that the project was "ill-considered."
While many will undoubtedly breathe a sigh of relief that this "ill-considered" sweeps week stunt will not come to fruition, we're afraid the tsunami of blistering press coverage it has already received makes it much too late to redeem either publisher Judith Regan or Fox reality guru Mike Darnell, who have now officially secured themselves an eternal spot in a scalding, feces-filled, bubbling hot tub in Hell. (Simpson will be there too, of course, in a permanent, downward-facing tree yoga pose.)
