B-List Celebrity Deemed No Threat To Airline Security

A nosy Defamer operative spotted Entourage sidekick and bite-sized Nicky Hilton escort Kevin Connolly at a Burbank airport checkpoint this morning, where the actor got a brief tutorial on heightened security measures:
Saw Entourage's E (Kevin Connolly) going thru security at Burbank this morning (Fri, 9/22). He got rousted for having liquid items in his carry-on. Either he hasn't been following the news (nor reading the posted signs nor listening to the loudspeaker announcements) or he just thought he could get away with one. Couldn't make out exactly what the offending items were, but they appeared to be: some kind of tube, possibly toothpaste; some jar of something, maybe pomade; deodorant spray; and something that looked like Afrin nasal spray. Apparently he's learned a few things from managing Vince, because in the end it sounded like he managed to convince them to let him keep everything except the deodorant.
Before you succumb to knee-jerk outrage over the fact that a celebrity may have enjoyed special treatment, please remember that Connolly really isn't even that famous; he was probably allowed to retain the ingredients for a potential hair-product-and-fresh-mint-Colgate bomb merely because the screener couldn't be bothered to argue with him, not because he was starstruck over a guy for having carnal knowledge of a Hilton heiress. And in a strange kind of way, doesn't that fact almost make you feel safer?
