Tori Spelling Flags Down Camera Crew To Bemoan Lack Of Privacy

Losing a loved one is an emotionally taxing affair, rendered all the more so when those left behind find themselves entrenched in destructive infighting and resentment. Thank goodness, then, that Tori Spelling can always rely on her dear friend and confidante, the celebrity media, to lend an open ear in her time of need:
ET caught up with newlywed TORI SPELLING in Malibu over the weekend with her husband, DEAN McDERMOTT, and her step-son, JACK. The "So NoTORIous" star opened up about her family's feud and how she's been coping since her father's death.
"There's days you want to crawl under a rock and just hide and just wish it would all go away, but being in the limelight, you know that's the territory. That's what comes along with it. Everything is exposed about your life."
"You get through it with dignity and you know what your truth is, and that's what's important," Tori says. "I'm a humble person though. So it's hard for me to change even in something like this."
Kudos, then to the self-described "humble" actress for not allowing her head to swell too much during the period immediately following her father's death: Whereas a lesser attention-whore might have selfishly used the events to somehow increase their own visibility, Spelling chose merely to offer her fully authorized story to select media outlets on multiple occasions, then suffered silently as her private life was splashed across the covers of the magazines to whom she'd given the exclusive authority to do so.
