Television upfronts and the celebrities enslaved to them continue to dominate Manhattan this week — we've yet to hear anything about young flacks passing out and shitting themselves, but 20th Century Fox is hosting its party tonight, so there's still a chance. The Times' Virginia Heffernan is live-blogging the networks' end of it (wherein the Heffer discovers that Ellen Pompeo has been denying herself bread crumbs), but she's certainly not going to tell us about any new instances of poopy pants. So if you see something, say something.

On that note, a reader reports on the ABC upfront shindig at Tao last night:

Harrison Ford won't be winning any awards for how to treat your fans nicely, as he shunned us leaving TAO, but he would win the prize for chivalry as he held the door open for girlfriend Calista Flockhart and assisted her into the limo SUV.

Lord knows the poor thing doesn't have the strength get scale an Escalade on her own. Laundry list rundown of celebs (in a world where both Eva Longoria and Ken Paves matter) after the jump.

Jimmy Kimmel leaving right before Eva Longoria who was escorted by Jessica Simpson's favorite gay BFF hairstylist, Ken Paves.

Lisa Rinna; Harry Hamlin holding hands and posing for photos. I finally got to thank Harry for being in the first mainstream gay movie that made a difference "Making Love" with Ken Oken and Kate Jackson! He was really appreciated.

Sofia Vergara posing in a provocative stance for the fans who were oohing and aahhing.

Ty Pennington telling a fan didn't I already pose with you at my hotel.

Matthew Davis taking pictures of the crowd cooing over his costar Sarah Lancaster,

Rachel Griffiths and Lauren Ambrose leaving with their significant others. Rachel Griffiths was nice enough to pose and sign, where Ambrose true to her nature ignored the fans.

Felicity Huffman, Marcia Cross and Terry Hatcher leaving Tao and walking about 300 feet to their hotel on 58th and Park Ave.

Taye Diggs and Indina Menzel getting into a long, long black limo. I guess she hasn't started rehearsals for Wicked in London.

On to the hotels

As luck would have it I was walking by the Ritz on 59th Street and I saw Mischa Barton waiting for the doorman to hail a cab for her. 9PM

Jorge Garcia, Daniel Dae Kim; Sarah Ramirez leaving by the side door of their hotel near 59th and Columbus. 8PM

James Spader getting out of a black SUV, posing for fans and calmly walking into his hotel near Columbus Circle. 8PM

Nicolette Sheridan walking her dog in front of her hotel near Columbus Blvd. 7PM

Update: Another reader writes: "Ken Paves was really nice - he even gave my client tips on how to cut her hair. Haha. Teri Hatcher was miserable and rude, but everyone else from DH was great. The cast of Grey's and Extreme Home Makeover were especially nice. And the after-party was at Cain. Also, the FOX party is actually tomorrow (Thursday) and tonight is CBS. FOX is always on a Thursday and always the last and most fun. (The upfronts always fall on the same days - NBC is always on a Monday, etc.) Although ABC could give them a run for their $ this year since all of the talent was in attendance and they have most of the biggest shows on TV right now...
