The promise of the wiping clean of the Nielsen slate accompanying the announcement of their fall schedule seems to have raised morale over at fourth-place NBC, as the network's new programming inspired one anonymous staffer to burst into verse and share his or her infectious enthusiasm with co-workers via e-mail. Who needs to pin their hopes to the mercurial Aaron Sorkin when fresh voices like this are waiting to lead a Peacock renaissance?

Since up fronts are today, we are going to eat in style, We have all been stressed, we have worked hard for quite a while.

So let's celebrate the fact that we are still in fourth place,
Hopefully our great new shows will tighten the race.

Studio 60 is my favorite, Heroes is so rad,
Singles Table is special, the short bus makes Jessica glad.

We are going to kick ass on Mondays, Howie Mandel might actually shake our hand,
NBC is finally going to get some traction, it is time we take a stand.

Tuesday night is aggressive with two new dramas back to back. But with FNL as our anchor, we are sure to be ahead of the pack.

Wednesdays will be interesting, Lost will put our comedies to the test.
But Tracy Morgan is a Jedi, maybe the honky grandma is blessed.

I wish we moved the mother ship to Friday, but we cannot displease Dick,
I am hopeful however, that are comedies just might stick.

Thursdays are a gamble, I hope Pam and Jim pave the way,
This is the most quality night of television, no matter what they say.

Black Donnelly's will be midseason in the coveted Thursday night spot,
If ABC moves Grey's to Thursdays, I say, let them ROT!

Fridays will be solid, nothing that will move and shake,
But we could still win the night since Friday's are anyone's to take.

Thank God for Sunday Night Football, the launching pad we need,
Our new shows deserve a shot, and football just might do the deed.

So, though we do not get to go to New York, there is no reason we cannot celebrate,
Send your Morton's order to Monica by 11, don't be late!

I cannot wait to watch Kevin announce our fabulous schedule for the fall,
Let's begin our rise to the top right now, it is time for CBS, ABC, and FBC to hit the wall.

We should be so proud of our team, to the execs, we raise our glass,
Time to celebrate the pilots, let's go kick some ass!
