Conde Nast keeps moving folks into that other office building, at 750 Third Avenue. The former Fairchildren are there. The Golf Digest Cos. People, we think, have been moved there. Even House & Garden is set to move soon from the temple that is 4 Times Square over to Third Avenue, much to the presumed chagrin of EIC Dominique Browning. But a Nastie source today raises to us an intriguing question: Could it be that 750 Third is actually a better place to work than 4TS? It's counterintuitive, sure, but bear with us. Says the source:

Waiting behind a Dutch couple studiously deciphering the breakfast menu at the deli south of Times Square this morning, it dawned on me: that other building is Normal New York. On Third Avenue, there's no more fighting the bridge, tunnel, and JFK international terminal crowd just to get a sandwich. There are probably quiet, sensible places to get a drink. (Last week at Jimmy's Corner, one of the few remaining great Times Square dives, the barkeep approached us as we entered to seat our party.) And speaking of waiting on food lines: Crosstown, there are no stiletto-taloned Voguers managing the sandwich queue in Frank's Titanium Tank. Granted, here they have those really cool lobby exhibits and the distinct pleasure of chumming it up with Anna on the elevator. But even that can be a bit much before morning coffee. That's it: 750 Third is way cooler than here.

Um, yeah. Right. We're sure Graydon will be moving his office over any second.
