A tipster tells that a few months ago, they received an advance reader's copy of Kaavya Viswanathan's debut novel, complete with fancy metallic embossing and a bound letter from Little, Brown publisher Michael Pietsch. His adoration of Viswanathan practically drips from every word — it's kind of sad, actually. Should there ever be a Museum of Fake Writers, may this powerful relic best preserve the memory of Fake Writer Day's youngest victim.
