Craig's "community-building bullshit"
Is the Bay Guardian feeling threatened? Editor Tim Redmond challenged lovable geek Craig Newmark about opening Craigslist sites outside San Francisco.
If he's such an altruist, why does he have to keep expanding like a typical predatory chain? ... I've got no problem with Craig making money...But don't give me this community-building bullshit.
Surely the news editor was entirely speaking on behalf of indie community site builders and has nothing to do with Craigslist breaking the Bay Guardian's classifieds racket.
