No one was certain it was him, until a faint, muted "HEEhee" emerged from under the layers on black fabric. Yes, that was indeed displaced despot of pop Michael Jackson, who just a few months ago was found applying makeup in a public woman's restroom, leaving a Bahraini mall in a traditional Arab woman's gown and veil, accompanied by three children wrapped in dark scarves who best case scenario were assumed to be his own children:

He was wearing an abaya, a robe with long sleeves, under which his pants, white shirt and men's shoes could be seen. His head and face were wrapped in a black veil and he was wearing black gloves.

The veil, abaya and gloves were of a style typically worn by conservative Bahraini women, though Jackson appeared to be wearing them to hide his identity.

A woman wearing an abaya, jeans and a scarf over her head that partially covered her face accompanied Jackson. She asked photographers to respect their privacy, saying they were scaring the children.

In order to shield Blanket and co. from the terror of the flashbulbs, the boogeyman-like Jackson opted to zip the three kids into a large black duffel bag, then ordered security duty to place the perpetually shifting luggage in the limo's trunk, where photographers could scare them no longer.
