TWU Fights the Sleepy Fight
Taken at the 28th & Park 4/5/6 station, 1:15 PM.
On Friday, the Transportation Workers Union voted against the proposed MTA contract. The TWU opposed employee contributions of $80/month for lifetime health insurance coverage and the union is still demanding full retirement benefits by age 50, after only 20 years on the job.
Judging from the above camera phone picture, it seems that TWU members have articulated a compelling argument in their defense. Like a glass of warm milk, really.
