Ben McGrath and Luke Wilson Sing 'We Are Family'
Today's Page Six reveals yet another Hollywood-Conde Nast nexus, and this time it's one Graydon Carter can't milk for a finder's fee:
OWEN and Luke Wilson's ties to The New Yorker run deep. Everyone knows that "Wedding Crashers" star Owen is an avid reader of the magazine, as he famously fired off a scathing letter to the editor after film critic David Denby lambasted his buddy Ben Stiller's "tiresome" screen presence in his review of "Meet the Fockers" last year. But blood is thicker than ink for Owen's brother Luke, who was spotted catching up with their second cousin, New Yorker writer Ben McGrath, at Wednesday night's bodog.com party at the Rainbow Room. "I haven't seen you since you were 10," Luke told McGrath, 28, who last saw his famous relatives at a family reunion in Boston.
We can't tell you how thrilled we are for young Ben, that he's been able to reconnect with his important relatives. It's about time the kid had some family connections he could use to get ahead in the world.
