I saw Renee Zellweger this morning at the Duane Read on 58th and 8th. Trust me when I say this woman is about 3 inches broad! She is tinyyyyyyyy. She was checking out while I was on line and was buying Doritos, paper towels, the usual stuff. She had on a hat with wet hair underneath- big black sunglasses on top of the hat of course. It looked like she had just finished working out because she was wearing a black hooded jacket, black yoga pants and sneakers. The most ironic part of the whole scenario was that where she was checking out, there was a rack of People magazines hoisted up next to where she was swiping her card, so she was forced to face her Ex, Kenny Chesney on the cover of People with the title, "My Side of the Story." Sad!

Saw Drew Barrymore in her bohemian best (flowing scarf, boots, aviators) frantically looking for a cab around Astor Place on Sunday afternoon. She looked pretty normal in her hipster gear, with red hair, a little tiny thing (aren't they always?) and looked panicked...too bad all cabs were off duty. They were freaking out, walking in the middle of Broadway. We made eye contact and she had an "oh shit" look and stuck her cute little arm out. The best part: She was with two guys, one who looked like her boyfriend leading the charge...he looks like a total tool. Skinnyskinnyskinny with skinny black jeans tucked into white Chuck Taylor high tops, a fedora, a handle bar mustache, and pale pasty looking face...he had this Williamsburg gaucho thing happening. Lame...which further proves the theory that female movie stars have terrible taste in men...I would think this dude was a rock star but he's too much of a dork to pull that off. The other guy was wearing a stoner expression of "why are we freaking out about getting a cab right now when we can smoke a spliff in Washington Square?". Along for the ride, I presume...

I saw Fab WITH Drew just off of Union Square around 5 ish on Sunday (11-13). She was in her ubiquitous army green puffy jacket, he in a leather jacket (?) Both are pretty short. They were whispering to each other and kissing. So friggin cute.

Scarlett Johansson, walking in Union Square today around 1:15, (south, in front of Au Bon Pain) in skinny jeans, pouffy black jacket, silly-looking deerhunter-ish hat, talking on her cell phone. Direct quote: "It kinda looked swollen."

Saturday afternoon around 3:30 PM, I stood behind Keira Knightley on the down escalator at Barney's. She was radiantly beautiful, of course; and very skinny, of course. She has extremely long hair - even up in a high ponytail, it reached the whole way down her back. I have to guess they were extensions because it couldn't have grown out that fast after Domino. She was with an older woman (assistant? mother?) and talking to her animatedly about a friend of hers who had been "tight" (Britspeak for "drunk") and making a fool of herself.

This weekend, 10/13, eating brunch at extra virgin, spotted Sarah Jessica Parker next door at Sant Ambroeus. in her standard outfit...boots over jeans, blousey boho sweater, enormous face engulfing sunglasses and bad roots. then, what appeared to be a crazy fan (with the balls to approach her table), came over to chat. on further inspection, not a crazy fan at all, was a platinum blonde Hilary Swank. they touched each other's hair, giggled, talked about how famous they are, blah, blah. also, same day, earlier, Paul Rudd sighting at Horatio and Washington, heading out of his building, he's tiny, but cute.

11-7, Monday night, I was meeting friends for drinks at the Tribeca Grand. As usual, they were running late so I waited outside. In walked Anna Wintour with a massive bob - too blown out, looked like a mushroom head. She was soooooo skinny and frail looking. Next walked in Candace Bushnell, speaking of which, I couldn't believe how thin and tiny she was! finally, I spotted Carrie Bradshaw herself - Sarah Jessica Parker who is absolutely a knock out in person! Apparently they were having a screening downstairs which i couldn't get down due to tight security.

What would her minions say??!!! I saw Anna Wintour on west 8th Street, off 5th Avenue yesterday afternoon, 11/13, 4-ish, looking pale and tired sans make-up. Her hip length jacket only accentuated her deflated posterior. She must be a size 0.

Four in one day (11/13), all mediocre: Around lunchtime, on W. Broadway in the Tribeca area, saw Amanda Peet. Wow, she looked bad. She was sitting at a table outside some restaurant and she was wearing a grey beenie and her hair was tucked into it. Not a good look. She's much older looking in person. It didn't do her any favors that she seemed disgusted by something her companion was saying to her and held mouth agape for a good long while.

Around dinner time I saw Milla Jovovich on Prince and W. Broadway. She was carrying a huge Marc Jacobs bag. Looked beautiful. I am, however, disappointed in her height. Not as tall as expected. Not a block later I saw Dean Winters leaning on a store window talking on his cell phone. Looked pissed off. Good hair. Then last I saw Anna Wintour around Laguardia and Bleeker, she was wearing boot cut jeans, beat up sneakers (I know! But it was getting dark, I wouldn't put my life on that one.), and a cropped black jacket w/ white piping. Looked surprisingly good, clearly she hadn't styled her hair that day, it made a world of difference (for the better). Of course she was scowling. However, that could be because an overweight girl (ME!) entered her line of sight.

I was shopping at Balenciaga on W. 22nd between 10th and 11th on Saturday, and saw Martha Stewart with a two-person entourage — they were deciding on brunch plans. She was standing confidently, replete with a perfect coiffe and without the ankle brace. Everyone was quiet and respectful (it's Balenciaga, they have to be), but definitely aware of her presence. I think it's great she shops there — definitely wouldn't expect to see her at Balenciaga.
It was a busy day yesterday at the Boathouse in Central Park. We sat on the patio, and we saw Spike Lee depart a boat with a few kids. We also saw Claire Danes sitting on the patio with a few guy friends, drinking a glass of red wine. On our way out, we almost bumped right into Jason Lee as he was coming in. Quite the hot spot.

After brunching with pals at Balthazar on Sunday afternoon, spotted a very tall and sweaty Tim Robbins walking down Spring Street and into the MoMA Design Store. He was decked out in a matching blue windbreaker pant and jacket set and white terry cloth headband (oh dear), carrying a large hockey stick and massive duffle bag, and sticking out like a sore thumb among the I'm-so-trendy SoHo folk. Naturally, we followed him into the MoMA store where he spoke to the register girl for about five minutes while looking thoroughly uninterested. He continued standing at the counter for another 10 minutes waiting for his order to be brought up, giving off a nearly tangible nobody-talk-to-me vibe. And nodody did. Later that afternoon, we saw country singer Trisha Yearwood shopping for clothes at Anthropologie on West Broadway. Much prettier and thinner than I would have imagined.

James Gandolfini at Five Points yesterday during brunch (130pm) with his kid. He was walking out carrying a motorcycle helmet.

Jason and LC from Laguna Beach in my elevator at the Millenium just now, 1:45AM, making out. Yes, just us three. The she took a break to say "wow, this elevator thing moves fast" and he said "uh" - I felt like I was watching the show.

Walking up Sixth Ave I looked down 15th Street to see Jon Stewart walking up the street juggling an enormous box, followed by a swarthy worker carrying a smaller box. Nice to see he's a hands on kinda' guy. Some teenagery girls sort of flipped out and the surprisingly handsome Stewart gave a polite, low key smile over the box.

I took the V train this morning at about 9:45 with Chloe Sevigny. I totally stared at her a couple of times. I didn't want to be a creep and take a photo of her on my cam. She was dressed very nice, fashionable, in a white skirt and some nice black/brown boots that must have been crocodile or something. She got on at 2nd Ave and off at 42nd Street/Bryant Park. No one else in our car seemed to notice her.

A busy weekend! Saturday, walking to my gym (Gold's), passed a dapper Gabriel Byrne toting a cuppa joe into Studio 54, where his play will open soon; then, Chris Noth carrying a yoga mat and looking (just in case anyone didn't already have a picture in their head) like hell; once in the gym, spotted Aaron Lohr (starring opposite Idina Menzel in "See What I Wanna See" at the Public) from my elliptical perch. Triple header! Also, at the premiere of "Walk the Line" on Sunday: Chloe Sevigny (as usual looking the indie fashion maven part in high-waisted pants), a luminescent Lauren Graham, Luke Wilson (everyman hot), a bearded Topher Grace, Leann Rimes (ridiculously skinny), Kris Kristofferson, ET on MTV's Ryan Devlin (very friendly with the ladies, that elfin tease), and (directly in front of me for the movie's entire 6-hour duration). Oh yeah, and probably lots of country stars (whom I wouldn't recognize) on account of the imminent CMAs and the surplus of denim and glitter.

Sacha Baron Cohen (Ali G) and fiance Isla Fisher (red head from Wedding Crashers) 7 p.m. showing of Avenue Q, 11/13/2005. He is actually kind of attractive when he is not in character. She was practically in his lap the whole time. Lots of making out, baby talk, etc.

Stopped by Marquee on the way home. Bumped into Nicky Hilton who is quite a vision in person... Blond long hair, black camisole, jeans and knee hi black boots, cute! Also spotted were Brandon Davis to me looks like he is channeling Elvis!

I saw Willem Dafoe around Union Square/Chelsea hailing a cab last Thursday. No one but me seemed to notice him. Looked very good, very stylin'.

Saw Minnie Driver walking with some dude near Sheep s Meadow on Saturday. She is taller than one would think and was wearing the sartorial version of getting the shit kicked out of you huge-ass fur vest thing, army pants, and an unbecoming cap. Who knew she could look more uncomfortable than she does in that scene in GOOD WILL HUNTING where matt damon flat-out tells her he doesn t love her and then she spends about five years contorting her face in.

Saw Judy Greer at the Spotted Pig last night. (11/13) She was already seated at a table when we arrived at 7 and was still sitting there when we left at 9:30. Very skinny and a bit nervous looking when we turned in her direction.

Once again, dining at Freeman's on Sunday 11/13 near a radiant Natalia Vodianova, Justin Portman (isn't he an Earl or a Duke of something?) and absolutely adorable towheaded son. The adults drank Bloody Marys (hers was a Virgin) and ate a big brunch with plenty of carbs and sausage. They seemed like a normal LES family (she was wearing Chuck Taylors) except that she is stunning, even without makeup, and his accent is exceedingly posh. Also, Gaby Hoffman sat next to us, but I found her pretty dull after the Vodianova family sighting.

I was at the John Cale show on Sat. night (11/12) at St. Ann's Warehouse in DUMBO (god I love the neighborhood but hate the annoying acronym) and I spotted Guy Pearce in the lobby afterwards. I remembered reading some gossip column about how he's seriously gaunt and malnourished now because he's playing Andy Warhol in "Factory Girl", so when I heard an Australian accent coming out of a guy that looked like a skinny version of Guy Pearce I figured it must be him. He had brown, slicked-back hair and was wearing glasses. I gave him my best "I know who you are and you're really sexy" stare. Man I wish he was wearing the Warhol wig.

I saw French actor Jean Reno (Leon: The Professional) at Lincoln Center tonight (Monday, 11/14) around 8:30 pm filming a movie called Margaret that stars Anna Paquin and Matt Damon. Mr. Reno looked great, wearing a suit and a nice long black wool coat and seemed to very happy and personable on set. He was talking to man and smiling a lot.

Whilst stumbling across Park Avenue South at 23rd Street this morning (11/15) after an awful 6 train ride, I was nearly taken out by Dennis Farina driving a black Jaguar with all the windows down. He was looking exactly like the new Detective Briscoe in a sharp but out of season beige suit and pink tie.

I saw Michael Imperioli twice today (11/15). The first time, I saw him on Worth Street at Church Street. About an hour and a half later, I saw him on Duane Street. I'm starting to think "Christofah" is following me around Tribeca...

Was on the same Air France flight (008) as Tyrese Gibson (Four Brothers, 2 Fast 2 Furious fame) last night. Didn t notice him at first cause he was totally grunged out he sat up in front (not sure if it was First or Business class) and his posse/entourage sat in coach with the rest of us. During the flight he came back like four or five times to check on his friends or to just let people see that he was on the flight. He did the same thing off the plane, he and his crew hung outside of the exit all on their cell phones, making sure all the passengers saw him; no one paid any outward attention and he had to go through customs and get his own baggage like the rest of us regular folk.

I had the guilty pleasure of seeing Richard "John Boy" Thomas this afternoon (November 14) walking down 46th St. accompanied by his mole. He's still very boyish looking, but he was wearing a very geriatric rust-colored shirt and baggy jeans. Once a Walton, always a Walton!
