Arnold Schwarzenegger Consults IMDb, Acknowledges Defeat
It was a slice of humble, Bavarian cream pie for Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger, who saw all eight of his initiatives voted down in Tuesday night's state election. Never one to shy away from a movie-inspired self-reference, Arnold told a press conference:
"If I would do another Terminator movie I would have Terminator travel back in time and tell Arnold not to have a special election."
"While I was at the whole time-travel thing," he continued, "I might also make a little stop in 1938 Austria to discourage my policeman father from partaking in his suspicious World War II activities, for which I am still making regular reparative guilt-payments to the Simon Wiesenthal Center. Not even an ice-related sentiment from Mr. Freeze can adequately relay the evils of that dark, regrettable period."
