While cruising J-Date ("browsing" is an inadequate way to describe the experience, is it?), a reader came across director Luke Greenfield's profile:

About Me
Movies are my life. I directed "The Girl Next Door" and before that, "The Animal," with Rob Schneider and Adam Sandler - Blah, blah, blah, who cares? I'm taking time off and I'm looking for a cool, sexy girl who's sharp, fun, loving, and has great taste .Because I could use some serious help! I just bought a house and need help decorating! I'm always trying to play as hard as I work. Love to travel, experience new people then go back to work on my next movie. Love risks, love taking chances and love living an extraordinary life.

Naturally, we have to recognize the possibility that the profile is the work of some very bored pranksters. But why should we be so surprised that a person like Greenfield might be out there hunting for a suitable, faith-appropriate mate? Guys who direct Rob Schneider movies need to be loved, too—especially ones brave enough to admit to it up front.
