The Times joins the ever-growing Anderson Cooper love-fest today, noting that he has "capitivated" viewers over the past two weeks. We of course agree with nearly everything the article has to say, though we were stopped briefly by this:

"He is the anchorperson of the future," Jonathan Klein, the president of CNN/U.S., said in an interview. He is "an anti-anchorperson," he said, adding: "He's all human. He's not putting it on."

Oh no, he's not putting on any persona. No put-on at all.
