We find most newfangled warning labels ridiculous — yes, a plastic bag is not a toy; no, you shouldn't use the hairdryer in the bathtub; TV-MA-VSL means, well, what? But here's a warning trend we can get behind: Obnoxious, gratuitous emailers pre-announcing their incoherent rants.

Subject: stupidity

I'm sure this will never be seen on your web site or in print, but when I see such drivel printed as the truth, it makes me wonder how much longer the American citizens will stand for it. To hear Huffington's opinion you would think that all the world's problems are caused by America. Since WW1 members of my family have defended her right to free speech with their blood. If she hates the USA so much, I personally will pay her way to any country she chooses with the stipulation that when she finds she don't like it and wants to come back, I get to hunt her down and kick the crap out of her.

See, the subject line warned us.
