Softball: To Foxman's Chagrin, No Doubt, 'VF' Tops 'Cargo'
No word yet on the big Today vs. GMA softball rematch. But here's a report from the VF-Cargo battle, which apparently primarily focused on the truly important part of any softball game:
Predictably, Vanity Fair's team of hardcore fact-checkers beat the, um, pants, off Cargo. Not even sure what the score was — and not sure it would be good sportsmanship to mention it if I did know, but the game dissolved after three innings into an amicable drinking contest at Tap a Keg, where the Cargo staff demonstrated its real athletic prowess.
Funny, that's not what we were led to believe was Cargo's real prowess.
