Now there's news on the wires that even the author Judith Rossner has finally finished her search for Mr. Goodbar. And somehow we have this feeling that the recent spate of deaths isn't quite over yet.

Good thing, then, that the Times gives us 1,700 words on what's appropriate to serve at funerals for all sorts of different ethnic and regional backgrounds. Otherwise we'd just be sending everyone Nova.
