One day in the very near future, Craigslist will completely destabilize the Hollywood casting system. Who needs mass e-mailed casting calls, or ads in Backstage West, or the overhead involved in having a "person" with a "telephone" to confirm that a certain actress's headshot came through on the fax machine? We once again embrace the revolution:

CASTING for "Hollywood Hooker" Role
 Low Budget Foreign Language Feature Film is casting for the supporting role of "MARIA"- a Hollywood Hooker. Maria is a SEXY looking girl in early 20s with very good Boobs. Maria encounters the Hero of the movie. Maria entices the handsome Hero guy for sex. But he refuses. However Maria makes hilarious jokes in the process of enticing the Hero guy. The lines will be taught during rehearsal. The Actual Shooting of the scene lasts no more than 3 hours. Shooting is scheduled for July 31, Sunday.

Some decoding may be necessary here, but this is how the revamped casting system of the future will operate. Once you know that "Hollywood Hooker" is code for "mutant hooker," it becomes clearer that "handsome Hero guy" is director Brett Ratner and that "Low Budget Foreign Language Feature Film" is almost certainly a reference to the Vancouver production of X3. Also, don't be intimidated by the "3 hours" of "Actual Shooting." The "casting session" probably won't "last" more than a couple of minutes.
