Nike Bows to Minor Threat

In a move that has every old-school indie kid thinking he too can be David to the Goliath of mass market consumerism, Nike has agreed to pull its "Major Threat" skateboard tour posters after causing an outrage(!) by using a well-known Minor Threat album cover without permission.
In an attempt to make peace with the legendary hardcore band, the letter extends this olive branch: "All of the Nike employees responsible for the creation of the tour flyer are fans of both Minor Threat and Dischord records [sic] and have nothing but respect for both." See guys, it was a case of idol worship gone terribly wrong! Nike is totally down with underground music and skate culture.
Phew. Now that that's resolved, can we maybe devote the same sort of focus to, say, that whole sweatshop issue? Obviously, Minor Threat always comes first, but since we've got some time on our hands...
