A Virgin Megastore-employed reader sends along a brief but enlightening excerpt from last night's employee email:

Radar Magazine

Many of you have received random copies of Radar Magazine (SKU 1247082). These shipments include no invoice, no purchase order numbers and no indication of which vendor they are from. Please hold on to these magazines without receiving them and without destroying them until we ascertain what is to be done with them.

Questions? Contact [Redacted], Product Manager at, [Redacted].

That's probably more or less the standard reaction. For those keeping track at home (or in Richard Branson's salt mines), Radar is available for actual purchase in Arkansas, parts of Washington State, and at the newsstand of the guy who tried to blow up the Post.

Despite all this, Radar has already found its place in New York's unique and delicate social dance, as the City section will say next Sunday, following it with a cute reworking (and sanitizing) of this alarming Craigslist posting. -AP
