Special Gawker correspondent Andrew Krucoff, a man who came of age across his multivaried blog network, reports on three members of the next generation of NYC bloggers as part of his latest attempt to get laid to share the love.

I'm An Intern In New York*
We all came to New York for one reason: to blog. (Sorry, but pulling an all-night bender that involved doing shots at Siberia with Jimmy Fallon does not constitute "making it.") Intern Blogger "Andy" wants you to hear what it's like to work at Comedy Central for the semester. A precious few smuggled gems: a first encounter with UES pizza-eating Jews, the HR department instant classic 10 Things You Probably Didn't Know About Interns, and Interns: A History in Parts I, II, III.

This Is 14th Street
For starters, I like the cocky declaration of this site: This Is 14th Street. No fucking around. She means it. Only a comma-bitch-exclamation-point appendage would make it more convincing. Exploring "the grey area of New York," she exhibits no shame in talking about $2 friendships made on the subway, emo-blogging like a life depends on it, and giving the type of discerning tips that picky diners crave: "DO NOT EAT AT SOMBRERO IN TIMES SQUARE!" That's Just The Booze Talking
And that's just a mouse with big ears in my pocket listening. This blogger produces the rare mash-up of "funny" and "writing" lacking from too many blogs. It's a mixed bag of musings on life in New York, news of the day, and relationships. Sure, that sounds like the "What To Blog?" brochure that comes with your Blogger.com starter kit, but you still have to execute with style. Who else is gonna offer dating tips like "Don't ever let a guy put it in your pooper on the first date"?

*Yes, the blog formerly known as I'm a Comedy Central Intern.
