Automaker, auto-innovator John DeLorean, who left us this week, was readying new patents even with his glory days over. Not so many years ago this fellow, who came up with the stainless steel car, invited me to his New Jersey farm. He'd just patented a development energy storage device that I still don't understand.
What's the point of patenting a development energy storage device if it isn't simple enough for a grandmother to use?
