In this week's New York Observer, Tom Scocca talks to Frank Rich about his move from 'Arts & Leisure' back to 'Op-Ed' and uses, perhaps, the best metaphor we've encountered in a while:

Throughout his years on West 43rd Street, Mr. Rich has been something like a massive, ornate sofa much admired, yet periodically turned around and moved from room to room, in search of a place he harmoniously fits.

Hopefully, this latest move will create some much needed feng shui. (We suggest some mirrors and a bowl of oranges in the corner to offset the evil/twerpy vibe put out by David Brooks.)

But now that that couch has been removed from 'A&L,' what will replace it? Here are some suggestions for what can fill the gaping Frank Rich-shaped hole in the section:
· 'His Name is My Name, Too!': A weekly Q&A between two artists who share the same last name, more or less. Jack White meets Betty White; James Garner meets Jennifer Garner; Glenn Close meets Chuck Close; John Kenneth Galbraith meets Bobcat Goldthwait. Watch what happens when different people with similar names talk!
· Weekly cover page drawings by Daniel Johnston: look close and see if you can find the subliminal 'Pfizers.'
· 'The Blogger Report': What arts and culture were bloggers talking about this week? Surely their insights are of interest.
· Culture-theme word jumble.
