Clarifying the Friedman: A Reader's Plea to 'FOX 411'
A reader sent us an urgent message about FOXNews 'FOX 411' columnist Roger Friedman's latest dispatch in which he looks closely at important source and asks the tough questions:
According to a press release I received yesterday from my pals at the Diamond Trading Company, Gwyneth Paltrow Brad [Pitt]'s former fianc e wore only Damiani diamonds, supplied to her by the company, on Oscar night.
Why is this interesting? Because Brad has designed jewelry for Damiani and had major business dealings with them. He's even been in a lawsuit with them, now settled. Pitt even had Damiani design Jennifer's wedding and engagement rings.
So does Gwyneth's choice of jewelry designer mean anything? There were plenty of others to choose among, including Harry Winston, of course, Chopard, Neil Lane and Fred Leighton.
This reader would like to direct Friedman to Damiani's website so that he can see that Gwyneth Paltrow is a spokesmodel for the diamond company. The reader would also like Friedman to know that Paltrow appears in print ads for the company in Vanity Fair and Vogue.
In Friedman's defense, he would've known that if someone had sent him a press release about it.
