Maureen Dowd has an interesting suggestion for how the Bush administration can avoid another James Duckert situation:

I know the F.B.I. computers don't work, but this is ridiculous. After getting gobsmacked by the louche sagas of Mr. Guckert and Bernard Kerik, the White House vetters should consider adding someone with some blogging experience.


Good idea, but how would they find these enterprising bloggers? It's not like they're gonna promote themselves or anything.
