Thank god for The Slammer. The New York Daily News wrestling columnist always manages to put everything into perspective and remind us what this crazy mixed-up world is all about: wrestling.

While David Hinckley, his colleague on the TV page, goes on and on about the Super Bowl ads and the whole 'values' brouhaha, The Slammer slams it all into context:

Remember a first-quarter commercial in which a young lady rises from her chair to address what looks like a Senate-type committee hearing? If you forgot, she points to her spaghetti-strapped T-shirt that says GoDaddy.com across the front (a Web site that sells domain names) when one of the straps snaps. Luckily she proved to be as quick as Michael Vick and saved the day before we had another Janet Jackson episode. That lovely lady was Candice Michelle, a "Raw" Diva girl!

How psyched The Slammer must've been when he saw the Go Daddy ads: we only wish we could see his tears of joy behind that Quiet Riot mask.
