When Party Crash needs a Fashion Week fix, we go to Salon, natch. And who do we find? Jennifer Nicholson and her post-show party. The fashion designer (pictured above), whose daddy is Jack, threw a huge bash on Tuesday to celebrate her new Fashion Week collection. Special Correspondent Faran and Gawker photographer Nikola Tamindzic [gallery available here] brave The Fabian for this stylish party crash.

Sir Ivan, who claims he's someone.

Salon's upstairs was packed with pretty posses, some famous and some just pretending. While Nicholson held court at a VIP table — surrounded by pouty models, music moguls, and Frenchie the Flirty Waitress — various glamourinas floated by while flashbulbs popped everywhere. Making the rounds was the REAL original supermodel Pat Cleveland, who told us, "Stay clean!" as we headed to the bathroom. Thanks Pat, but sadly, we're not Mischa (or even Mary Kate!). Other priceless quotes came from designer Erin Selmer, who confided, "I'm coming out with a new snowsuit line! They're going to be amazing; $600." Well, sign our poverty-stricken asses on up!

This woman, whose name we don't know, is pretty and looks disaffected. Which means she might be a model.

Come, all ye minions, and behold the Basabe!

Meanwhile, Fabian Basabe "hid" at a banquette — of course, he sat on TOP of the booth, so everyone could see him. When asked to predict this year's hottest trend, he promptly answered "me!" before handing over the proverbial mic to a friend, who declared, "Fabian is the ultimate accessory!" Perhaps, but Martina hasn't traded in her Bottega bags just yet... (Okay, in truth, we're giving Mr. B a bad rap — he was sweet and charming, even if he's beyond clueless).

This guy thinks Basabe is better than any Vuitton bag.

Jennifer Nicholson holds court.

Earlier that night, Jennifer confessed she had a special sweetie, but refused to name names. So imagine our shock when we approached skateboarding legend Steve Olson with a "What are you doing here?" hug. He gleefully shouted, "It's my girl's party!" Guess the cat's out of the bag, Jenn. Finally, what would a party be without lots of pretty people? Feast your eyes on the remainders.

Last, and certainly not least, we believe this Iggy Pop lookalike is Jimmy Boyle, who just might be involved with Fashion Week's PR queen Kelly Cutrone.
