Defamer Casting: We Can't Make You Famous
When we posted the casting call for Brett Ratner's video shoot for Mariah Carey yesterday, we didn't expect that anyone would attempt to apply through Defamer. But, of course, someone did enlist us to help them make their connection with the type of fame that only a frame or two in a Ratner-directed video can provide:
Hello!! My name is [redacted] and I'd like work in the Mariah's new video. I am a birracial spanish model of 21 years of old and I am fan of Mariah Carey. That's for me a very important opportunity of work. Thank you.
Our days of being an upscale, high-rolling, urban, hip, music video background wedding guest with an edgy ethnicity are far behind us, so we don't know how to actually obtain that kind of employment other than forking over some money to the website with the original listing. Unfortunately, while he seems to meet the "mixed culture" requirement (props to Ratner for constructing a utopia free of ethnic separation) this young, biracial go-getter neglected to include his headshot, so we're unable to vet his attractiveness for any prospective casting services. Also, we doubt that his rack is going to be big enough to pass the Ratner test. Better luck next video, kid.
