Looks like blogging is the new extreme inline-trampoline-base-jumping. What else are we to think when Levi's wants to cast bloggers (well-known for being sartorially-challenged, shut-in computer nerds with sicko crushes on Scarlett Johansson and the skinny guy from The O.C.) for an advertising campaign?

A tipster forwarded us this casting call, which would be hilarious, if it wasn't so damn earnest:

Hello, I am doing a casting for Levi s, the 2005 Brand campaign be shot in NY March 4, 5th and 6th and need bloggers to appear as themselves to model. It is part of a branding campaign called " A Style for Every Story." See ad attached. If we use you, you will get $10,000 and your name will appear next to it. I need your photo if you are interested . My email is [redacted] or I can be reached at [redacted]. I look forward to your response. Thank you.

No, thank you for making this rinky-dink medium jump the proverbial shark once and for all. Now, who wants to pay us 10k for the redacted info?
