The Times 'Arts, Briefly' reports that Larry Mullen of U2 is apologizing to fans over a ticketing snafu:

The U2 drummer Larry Mullen has posted a letter on the band's Web site offering refunds to members of its subscription service who had hoped to buy tickets for its American tour. They were to have the first chance to buy tickets, but the opportunity didn't work as planned. "The idea that our longtime U2 fans and scalpers competed for U2 tickets through our own Web site is appalling to me," Mr. Mullen wrote.

Can't they apologize for that annoying "Uno...dos...tres...catorce" song? Man, that shit was the soundtrack to our nightmares for weeks.
