A Times correction we actually care about:

An article in The Arts on Jan. 10 about television news coverage of the tsunami in Asia included erroneous figures from Nielsen Media Research for CNN's average prime-time audience for 10 nights after the waves hit and for the increase in viewers over a similar period last year. Nielsen said last week that the average audience on the 10 nights was 1.07 million people, not 935,000. When compared with the number of viewers in a 10-day period about a year earlier, the audience represented an increase of 42 percent, not 64 percent, Nielsen said.

Uncovering this stuff almost a month later? CNN slaves better hide under their desks, because oligarch Jim Walton must be piiiiiissed.
