In an unabashed ploy for pity, Tara Reid bares the sober side of her soul to the Post:

·On winning the PR game: "I think I am doing that slowly but surely," she said. "That's how the turtle won the race! People are starting to see that I am so much more."

·On the her secret self: "I am a very smart girl, and people don't realize that."

·On her roots: "Once you get to know me, you would know in a second that I am an East Coast girl. You can tell because I'm not flaky, and I will tell you how it is. I also walk faster than they walk in L.A."

·On her hopes and dreams: "It would be the ultimate dream for me to win an Academy Award, be in love and have kids," she explains. "Then I would say, 'Life is great! I have done everything I wanted.' I keep trying to get closer to that. I also think when that happens, people will finally leave me alone."

Wow, if that's what it takes for Tara to be left alone, the poor girl is never going to find a moment's peace. Nevertheless, this heartbreaking cry for help has us kind of loving Tara Reid now. She's just a girl in need of a hug! Shame on us for our past cruelties. And shame on the Post for mocking Tara's honesty with their headline, too.
