A reader scolded us for missing this story (we were drunk, etc etc) about Brian Grazer's potentially fatal flight to Sundance:

"While we were beginning our descent, we all smelled and could see smoke," Grazer said. "We strapped in and heard the pilot say there was a fire on the plane. Next thing we knew, the smoke was so dense we couldn't see anything in the rear compartment, except the crew racing with fire extinguishers to put out what they later said was an electrical fire.

"All that to see 'Inside Deep Throat,' " said Grazer, whose docu preemed at the fest.

When we saw Grazer at the Inside Deep Throat premiere and Q & A, he didn't look rattled at all. Maybe he's so comfortable with his legacy that he's ready to go at any time. But in those tense moments when the plane's cabin filled with smoke, we've got a felling that Stuber and Grazer used their possible last breaths to fight over who should get more screen time during the Oscars' sepia-toned "Dead Hollywood" montage.
