This Sunday's Times seems a bit fixated on doughnuts: Dunkin' Donuts, to be precise.

In the 'Real Estate' section, we learn that Dunkin' Donuts is increasing its presence in Manhattan. If you're not familiar with the chain, the Times helpfully explains that, "Dunkin' Donuts' shops are heralded by orange and plum striped awnings..."

That "colorful storefront" pops up again in 'The City' section in a report about a quick-thinking cashier who helped bust a Queens Village Dunkin' Donuts hold-up man.

So, are Dunkin' Donuts the new 'it' sugary-fatty treat? Is this finally the end of Krispy Kremes as the go-to doughnut for journalists? Stay tuned! Or, you know, don't.
