Is there a mass exodus going down at Spin? Kory Kennedy was named as the new design director back in July and, since then, the mag's door has been noticeably revolving. Kennedy brought in a new art department (not that unusual), Senior Editor Tracey Pepper and another associate editor have reportedly resigned this month, and we hear that more editors might be planning on packing up in the coming months.

So what gives? Are employees disgruntled with the past two years' raise freeze? The absence of holiday bonuses? Or are the rockers just pissed about the lack of staff outings? Their last non-holiday social function was, after all, during the blackout in 2003. You'd think Spin would know better than to deprive their staff of company-sponsored booze cruises.

[UPDATE: Tracey Pepper says she didn't actually resign, but that she fled to the West coast offices. Spin editors are willingly choosing to work from LA rather than endure here at home? So tragic!]
