As the NY Daily News' Lloyd Grove clumsily leaked this morning (in that lovable, misspelling-riddled, afterthought-ish way of his), Esquire magazine is revealing the secret of my incredibly mundane identity in its upcoming issue, after months of relatively pointless anonymity. And:

Surprise! I'm nobody. Just like we told you in May.

For the three of you keeping score at home (Mom, you can finally tell Grandma I'm not actually writing a movie for Bob Hope), the proper spelling of the name is "Mark Lisanti."* A few of you may know me from my other anonymous blog, Bunsen.tv, which helped land me this (somewhat) paid gig as, er, an anonymous blogger. There's really nothing like failing upwards in tiny increments! In the end, what could be more Hollywood that that?

[*To clear up some confusion, it should be noted that Esquire spelled my name correctly, while the editing-impaired Grove is solely responsible for this "Listani" business.]
